Takeout tacos with a twist—born from necessity, fueled by creativity.
Bingo Taco was a pandemic-era food brand developed for restauranteur Matt Thompson as a way to adapt his indoor restaurant, Alphabet City (ABC), to the changing realities of lockdown dining. To keep serving the community, Matt transformed part of ABC into a takeout "food truck" experience—operating through a large sliding window for customers who weren’t ready to dine indoors.
I was brought on to create a bold, playful brand that would grab attention and lift spirits. We took inspiration from the traditional Mexican game Lotería, reimagining its iconic cards with custom illustrations that celebrated tacos and street food culture. These modified cards became the heart of the brand—used across packaging, signage, and a vibrant storefront installation that turned the window into a visual spectacle.
